4/27 Heard in the Waiting Room
- Louis Lombardi (from '24') was apparently upset at the Palm Beach Film Festival at the way the organizers ran the festival, and made a crack at Tristan Rogers' fame. Hmm...Tristan Rogers had no such problem being recognized last year, it would seem that Lombardi's fame didn't quite match his ego.

TTYL...a friend:
KMc and JT are getting antsy but they are happy; NS2 I know nothing about but hope that people have learned fromtheir mistakes. JE, FH and TG have things coming up which will most likely not make people happy but if the alternative is no screentime then I think they will have to deal. (source)
from Steve Burton recap:
Let's see. NS2 is happening. I thought Steve's reason why he isn't doing it this time was very interesting. He said he didn't want to do it because Bob and Jill weren't involved this time and he didn't want another producer or writers that didn't know the Jason character fooling around with the character.
He also told about the Coleman/Patrick/Spinelli scenes at Jake's. They sound hysterical. Those will air 5/12 and 5/13.(source)

Patrick sticks his foot in his mouth.
Scrubs?? Is it a long break up??
I don't think so but can't say for sure. Don't care about them so I don't ask.
I only like mob stuff.
Hope this info helped a bit! (source of the above)
Robin does ask for space from patrick, I don't know if you consider that breaking up, but she does try to avoid both him and her mom. Patrick becomes worried when she misses work.
TY. Is this off screen? Her missisng work. tia
Part of it is onscreen. She does have scenes with mac and kelly.
TY. Great is it another missed opportunity for them? I really want Patrick to be there for the important stuff. He already missed the first sonogram. Please let him be there when she hears the baby's heart beat for the first time.
No it's not a missed opportunity. It is something to do with her meds.
Does Patrick have scenes with Liz where she tells him to be patient, and he says if he waits he might lose Robin forever?
I didn't spoil that, but yes he does.
Anon I am really hoping you are right and Robin misses work because of her meds. I hope that means she and Mac talk about it. Also I am guessing that eventually there is bigger trouble with them and that is when Robin gives into Patrick's pursuit.
She doesn't miss work because of her meds. She misses work because she needs a break and is trying to avoid patrick, but she does have scenes with kelly regarding her meds.
Does Patrick take Liz advice on being patient or does he decide to fight for her?
I answered this in the last thread. I didn't spoil this, but yes does talk to liz and he tells her if he gives Robin time it means he will lose her, and he does fight.
Thank you so much, something to look forward to yay!! Do you happen to know how he fights for her?
I can't tell you anything right now, but he is going to grow up more than people/viewers expect of him. That's all the info I have. If I have more info I' share.
I am dropping one spoiler off and only one. Jake's birthday party freaks Patrick out and he goes off on Robin for draggin him there. That is the last straw for her and she tells him he needs to decide what he wants and she needs space until he does.

From FSA on SD:
SERIOUSLY, all I can say is DONT give up. A month from now, I TOTALLY believe the Scrubs fanbase will be whistling a different tune!
I wish I had you enthusiasm but I don't but good luck.
Let me put it this way, IF I was talking out of my ass, I wouldn't be THIS optimistic!
Cool, so you have heard something? Hmmm, intriguing.
Okay, here is what I will say and cuss me out or whatever:
Lets say right now where Scrubs are is at 0 degrees, well by the end of sweeps they do a COMPLETE 180 and I know most everyone's heads will be spinning. It is a GOOD thing and for me to say anymore would cause mahem... Please just KNOW it is good and I will share more when I get complete confirmation. NOTHING is worse than having egg all over ones face!
FSA is this from your insider friend?
Yes.
I could NO longer just sit on my hands and NOT let my fellow Scrubs fans know that good things ARE coming. I am reading post after post in the IL of such horrible scoops (well to some, not all) that I just wanted to say w/ fact that hope is NOT lost by a LONG shot!
FSA they said something happens with scrubs during sweeps?
Yes.
FSA can you give us a hint.
IF I could you KNOW I would! I hate being vague, but before I have ALL the facts, and KNOW that what I KNOW is 110% legit, I will not share. It is better to not share until I have all details for you all!
I'd prefer you not to spill until you are 100% sure anyway. But thanks for the heads up.
You're welcome. You know how I loathe the IL of 99.9% bullshit. So I find not sharing until I am 110% sure is better than sharing something that later I find out is false, esp as an RP cause then people are going to be like, SHE LIES, SHE LIES. Dont want that kinda shit on my back here. (source of the above)

WJ:
I agree they were not going for dialogue that would destroy Anna or Scrubs, I believe it was supposed to be more light hearted and funny , but the writer took in a much darker and deeper direction. I am sorry to say that I think both the actor replacing JT did a poor job with it, and to my surprise FH over played it to the point of seeming horrified at the idea. Sticking with Scrubs, this was just lousy writing and acting. The only person I believed was Kim and the hurt in her eyes.
You'd be correct. Patrick does not want Anna. I know it seemed that way on Friday but what he wants is Robin and he tells her so. He is so frustrated with the situation that he created for himself and takes it out on poor Coleman with a right hook...or left hook. Not sure of that one.
Whatever the case Lainey shows up and tries to tell Robin that it is common for men to be attracted to their girlfriends mothers'. Of course Robin is upset at first but she ends up finding the whole thing funny later in the week. It could have to do with Anna giving Patrick a swift left kick. Or right kick. Not sure of that one either. Either way he is sorry and tries to apologize a few times.
That's all I am spilling for now. Of course there is more. There always is but this board and its antics of late take the fun out of posting. Sorry to those of you who are always respectful and kind. I won't be gone forever. Just taking a break.

Chat Up:
Do you have anything on Scrubs, please??
Yeah, this is tentative because obviously its on the way side of long-term and on the rare occasion that they have something planned six months in advance, it often gets changed but right now, the plan is that they continue to struggle with their issues. Patrick feelings about Robin and the baby continue to be ambiguous. In the later part of the summer Robin has a health crisis which threatens the baby and at that point he comes to terms with the fact that he doesn't want her to lose the baby. They get married, shortly(and I do mean shortly) before the baby is born.
Like i said, very tentative but the show has gotten some complaints already because the HIV stuff is not being dealt with in this story, that is coming. When Robin goes into her health crisis it will become a very important part of the story and they've done a good deal of research getting ready for that. It was just decided that they wanted to do a storyline that was more than a nine month long PSA which is why you're getting some of the silly stuff now. The HIV stuff will be dealt with and you will see Patrick come to realize that he wants the child as much as Robin does. (source)

Jake is having a birthday party in the park though Jason isn't invited only Robin, Bobbie and Elizabeth w/Jake are there with some other person that I forget at the moment. I'd assume Cameron is there too.

Week of May 12th Robin breaks it off with Patrick
Since someone already dropped it. The Robin thing is true. She breaks things off that week. Liz and her have a talk early that week about parenthood. Robin is determined to be a single mother and doesn't think Patrick will ever step up. She breaks things off with Patrick and tells him he can see their kid when he wants but they are over
For how long? And does Anna play a part in their getting back together?
No clue. They don't get back together that week. I don't know anything further down. Robin basically is tired of the back and forth and waiting for Patrick to step up that she tells him he's free to see the kid but as far as they are concerned as a couple, they are over.
Is the break up to faciliate Patrick going out of his way to prove his sincerity to Robin?
yes.
Scrubs do break up, but its a good thing for them.
Patrick tells Robin he thinks they should get married, and she say's no. He asks for an explanation and she gives him her reasons. Patrick thought he would be okay with it, but he is not and he fears that he might lose her. He continues to push the question and it frustrates Robin. She tries to avoid him and anna. Robin decides that they may be better off as just parents together, even though it breaks her hurt to not be with patrick and she breaks things off, and Patrick is heartbroken.
Romours that I still haven't checked: They do make love in mid sweeps and that Robin does have a health scare.
NOTE: patrick doesn't run or sleep with anybody.
Can you tell us what patrick does after the breakup..please?? something to hang on to?
Patrick is not doing anything crazy, he would fight to prove wrong.
someone is claiming that they have next week's SID, or tidbits from it, and it has an article claiming something happens to the baby and she loses it. or almost loses it. or might
I'm sorry I haven't read/seen the SID and so I don't know. I can confirm that she does have a health scare, but I don't know anything of losing the baby, but I can gurantee you that Scrubs baby is going longterm.
are you the person who dropped the Break up stuff for Scrubs?? So your info has the Scrubs baby making it??
*please oh please*
Thank you!!!!
Yes
Does he turn to anybody, sleep with anybody other than Robin????
No
Can you please give us something on what patrick does after robin ends it..?? Anything scubs fans need something for the long weekend ahead..and no one will dispute...
Patrick will have scenes with liz, and she tells him to just give Robin time, but patrick says that if he gives her time it means he will lose her, and he decides to fight for her.
Goodnight guys. For the first time I've enjoyed sharing info on SD, but lastly before I leave the scrubs split is temporary.
What does the SID say that's so bad for Scrubs? I don't see why the need to be secretive about it. Just tell us.
It is regarding the marriage stuff. Robin breaks up with him and something happens that may cause robin to lose the baby.
The title is "Robin and Patrick break up." Also the week of the 12th Patrick turns to Leyla.(source of the above)
I just thought I would jump in on this while Chat up is correct and you will see more romance for the young ones, they will not be the center for the summer. Their stories will be secondary as they always are. They just want to tweak the younger storylines and actually do romance more, but that doesn't mean you will see more of them. Just a shift in material. The main focus will still be on older crowd. Jason, Sonny, Carly and their pairings and storylines will still be front and center like it always has been. And Scrubs will be a main focus the summer with Robin's pregnancy.
Wow Scrub fans. Your too easy, I already said NB is not taping. How many times do you guys need to be told that.
Plus...SID on a friday? come on...
Robin is not going to lose this baby and her and Patrick are far from over.
If that's not obvious by now, I don't know what to tell you.
KLL, we know you sometimes get scrubs stuff....do you know anything about this SID supposed stuff??
I just got here. I don't know what's been said, and I didn't even know that the new SID was out. It shouldn't even be out.
Well someone supposedly says they know tidbits (but ironically only on one thing).....they say it says R and P break up and Robin may lose the baby and that P turns to leyla.
First, Kim said that Robin goes full term, so she doesn't loose the kid. And NO. Patrick doesn't turn to Leyla. And if he does, I haven't heard anything like that
Five Reasons Why Scrubs Are Special
For the first post, I thought I would start with why I thought this fanbase continues to be invested in Robin and Patrick as a couple....
They have tons of chemistry with each other
Many couples on the show have comfortable chemistry, however Robin and Patrick are one of the few that have sexual, romantic chemistry. They can be on the opposite sides of a room, but the connection between the two is apparent. And while Kimberly alluded to Patrick and Robin possibly burning brightly and then out, I don't believe that will be the case. Ever.
They're realistic and relatable
Crazily enough when you think about it, these two are the few characters on the show that seem to lead normal lives - they have conversations about their careers, couches, pregnancy, eating cheeseburgers, fries and beer at home on the couch, etc... and somehow they make it watchable and compelling.
They're a fun couple
While some of the repetitive arguing can get tedious, the playful bantering between Patrick and Robin is extremely fun to watch. No other couple on the show portrays a relationship where they seem to really enjoy being in each other's company. And when mixed into the canvas of the show, they are a stark contrast to General Hospital's dark storylines -they are the light, laughter, and heart of the show.
Their love for each other is believable
Beginning with the destruction of this couple on Night Shift and then on General Hospital, the writers have tested the limit of the viewers' buy-in that this couple will continue to love each other. Despite Guza's written undercurrent of Patrick and Robin's deep upset that their lives weren't going in the same direction (in order to justify actions), the writers almost made Patrick an unviable love interest for Robin. However, due to the strength of Kimberly and Jason's performances, they have successfully begun to sell to the viewer that Patrick and Robin are still deeply in love and they haven't 'jumped the shark' in believabilty (because of the whiplash in the accelerated rate the writers took and some issues left unsaid.)
Kimberly and Jason's portrayals
The trust between these two actors is evident and unique, in that they allow the other to constantly invade personal space and shine in the right areas of the dialogue. Kimberly's performances are understated and honest - she has the ability like no other actress on the show to make you grab for the tissues when she portrays Robin's hurt or loneliness. Jason has turned a bland playboy stereotype, into a complex character that teeters between arrogance and sensitivity, self-involved and self-sacrificing, a definite flight risk and Robin's constant. While Ethan Erickson shouldn't be knocked for stepping in when it was needed, Kimberly and Jason shouldn't ever worry that they can be replaced in the viewers' hearts. They are truly irreplaceable portraying Robin and Patrick.
